Helen Wallace was born on 28 Feb 1889 in Burleson County, Texas and died 14 Aug 1968 near Kendalia, Kendall, Texas. She was the daughter of James Henry Wallace and Ellen McCowen Wallace.

On 4 Sep 1908 she married Alonzo Lafayette Edge.

They had three children:

Gordon Alonzo Edge;

James Marlin Edge; and

Constance Helen Edge.
