Eleanora Schmidt was born on 14 Feb 1917 in Hugo, Hays, Texas and died 4 Sep 2008 near Kendalia, Kendall, Texas. She was the daughter of Richard "Windmill" Schmidt and Marie Louise Sophie Schlather Schmidt.
On 7 Dec 1945 she married James Marlin Edge.
They had two children:
Richard Marlin Edge (1946 - living) who married Sharon Fay Stevens (1951 - living) on 25 May 1969; and
Ellen Marie Edge (1948 - living) who married Don Ricks (1940 - living) on 15 Jun 1969.
