Oliver Lafayette Thomas was born in Texas on 6 Feb 1861 and died
in San Antonio, Bexar, Texas on 23 Feb 1926.
He was the son of Alexander Lafayette Thomas, who may have died in the Civil War, and Emily Louise Barrow Thomas Smith.
He married Savana Leach (Mar 1872 - ?) about 1891.
In 1900 he was living in Kendall County and working as a day laborer. Living with him were his wife and their four children:
Alexander Lafayette "Lafe" Thomas;
Pinky Y Thomas, born Nov 1897; and
Also living with him was his father-in-law, Harrison Leach and his brother-in-law, Lem Leach, born May 1885.
