Conrad Henry Krause was born 11 Apr 1878 near Anhalt, Comal, Texas and died 17 Jan 1952 near Kendalia, Kendall, Texas. He was the son of John Krause and Anna Seidemann Krause.
He married Rosie Gertrude Edge on 15 Oct 1901. They had six children:
Constance A Krause who married Herbert Penell Baskin on 8 Oct 1922;
John Krause who married Iona Patterson on 31 Jan 1927;
William Thomas Krause (14 Oct 1908 - 2 Jan 1988) who married Sheila Martha Mullings (1 Aug 1911 - 18 Sep 1986);
Argyle Douglas Krause (11 Jan 1920 - 7 Dec 1990); and
Marlin James Krause who married Thelma Marie Huegele on 7 Aug 1942.
