Daniel Duane Kossl was born in Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin on 21 Sep 1956 and died in San Antonio, Bexar, Texas on 13 Mar 2019. He was the son of Leonard Norbert "Mick" Kossl and Elaine Margaret Noak Kossl.

On 1 Apr 1994 he married Michelle Annette Olenick (1968 - living). They had one son:
