History of the Stahl-Weidner Cemetery

On 4 Nov 1981 Flo Walker Mock received a letter from Elvira Weidner after requesting information about the cemetery. Here is an excerpt from that letter:

The cemetery was called "The family cemetery" in the early days, but in later years it was called "Weidner Cemetery" just more or less so people knew where it was.

Jacob Stahl once did own part of this land. That is where the family cemetery name care from. Jacob Stahl was Lewin's mama's daddy. It was really the "Stahl" family, not Weidner. Mrs. Bert Specht, Mrs. Henry Weidner, "Lewin's mama" and Mr. Rich. Stahl were brother and sister.
