Johann Adam "John" Kneupper was born 23 Apr
1856 in New Braunfels, Comal, Texas and died in Kendalia, Kendall, Texas on 24
Jun 1946.
He was the son of Johann Adolf Kneupper and Apolonia Fries Kneupper.
He married Maria Wilhelmine "Mina" Schmidt in New Braunfels, Comal, Texas on 6 Nov 1874. They had eight children:
Mary Kneupper who married
August Gerfers in 1891 and
Albert Krause in 1905;
Anna Kneupper who married Gus Gerfers;
Emma Kneupper who married Joseph Max Gerfers in Kendalia on 9 Feb 1898;
Albert Charles Kneupper who married Minnie Catherine Cornelia Edge in Kendalia on 29 Nov 1906;
Oscar Otto Kneupper who married Minnie Catherine Gourley on 20 Jul 1913;
William Christian Kneupper;
Otto Kneupper (6 Sep 1896 - 31 Jan 1898); and
Johnnie Ivor Kneupper who married Thelma Hester Edmondson on 27 Dec 1924.
